Simoné matriculated from Hoërskool Montana with seven distinctions. She completed her BA at the University of Pretoria and was conferred the Vice Chancellor and Principal’s Medal for the top-performing undergraduate candidate in the faculty of Humanities. She was the class representative for her Portuguese modules throughout her undergraduate degree. She completed her BSocSci Honours in Psychology in 2025 and is working towards a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She has worked as an Educational Assistant for three years in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pretoria, and volunteers as a lay counsellor with S-CTI. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, creative DIY projects, researching niche topics, and hiking.
