Murunwa attended Hoërskool Birchleigh, where she achieved 3 distinctions and ranked among the school’s top 10 students. She was the top achiever for Business Studies in Grade 11, served as a student leader, and was a member of her school’s Academic Executive Committee. Alongside her academics, she also represented her school on the hockey team. She is now completing her Medical degree at the University of Pretoria, where she has also served as a Residence Advisor, managing internal events.
In her free time, Murunwa enjoys reading, discovering new restaurants, and singing.
