Matthew is a Math and Biology tutor. He matriculated from St David's Marist Inanda with distinctions in Mathematics, Advanced Programme Mathematics, and Biology. He was awarded half-colours in school service, community service, rock climbing, and academics, as well as full-colours in leadership. Matthew completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) with a BSc in Life and Environmental Sciences. He also completed his BSc Honours in Zoology and his MSc in Zoology (both Cum Laude) at UJ. He was the top achiever in his third year for zoology, attaining the ZSSA best student for the year in Zoology for both his undergraduate and his honors. He is a member of the Golden Key Society, and he is pursuing his PhD in Zoology at UJ.
