Kelsey graduated from Melkbosstrand High School with 6 distinctions and ranked among the top five in her grade. She was awarded full academic colours in high school and actively participated in school culture, serving as president of her school's Rotary Interact Club. Additionally, Kelsey gained experience as a teacher's assistant at a primary school.
