Dembe is a Math, Accounting, Physics and Life Sciences tutor. He attended Elandspoort High School where he achieved 5 distinctions. He was the treasurer of the student body. He attended the University of Pretoria where he completed a degree in Actuarial Sciences. He won an award for his academics at Tuks res.
In his free time, he likes to play guitar and participate in soccer.
