Buhle matriculated from Curro Hazeldean High School with four distinctions, where she served as Deputy Head Girl. She was the first student at her school to earn provincial colours in netball and competed provincially from Grade 6 through to matric. She completed her BSc in Human Physiology, Genetics, and Psychology at the University of Pretoria, followed by an Honours degree in Medical Physiology at Stellenbosch University with distinction. She also served as Health and Wellness Officer on the Tygerberg Postgraduate Student Council.
She is a patient, energetic, and natural leader who works well with children of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, jogging, and staying active through sport.
