Benjamin matriculated with 8 A's as the dux scholar at Hoërskool Linden (94%), where he was awarded the subject prize for Accounting, Afrikaans HT and English FAL, and placed in the top 10 in Jhb North district. He is currently a second-year medical student at the University of Pretoria. He is a member of the Tuks Camerata and is passionate about choir and in his spare time he likes to play video games.
