Michelle matriculated with six distinctions from Hoërskool Randburg, where she was awarded full academic colours, along with merits for public speaking, swimming, and cross country. She went on to complete a BA in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), followed by an Honours degree in Psychology (cum laude) at the same institution. In 2025, Michelle completed her Master’s degree in Psychology (Research Design) at UJ and is currently lecturing in a range of psychology subjects.
In addition to her academic achievements, Michelle has completed a course in working with children, as well as basic counselling skills training through JPCCC. She has also accumulated over 270 hours of tutoring experience at Genius.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Michelle enjoys spending time in nature, running, creating art, and playing board games.
