Marizanne is a Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Accounting tutor. She matriculated from Paarl Girls' High School in 2020, with 6 distinctions and an 88% average earning full colours for both academics and hockey, and representing her school in first team and provincial field and indoor hockey. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Stellenbosch University, achieving 85% for her undergraduate thesis, and is currently pursuing her Master's degree there, with research focused on algorithmic trading, reinforcement learning, and financial modelling. Outside of academia, Marizanne is a passionate endurance athlete, an enthusiastic sourdough baker, and loves keeping her hands busy with crochet and curling up with a good book.
