I’m 21 years old and currently studying a BA (Health and Social Sciences) Psychological Counselling. When I am done with my studies, I hope to be a qualified Drama Therapist. I have been working for Genius Premium Tuition since April 2019.
I was working a full-time job at the beginning of the year, but the workload was too much, and the pay was far too little. I decided to look for two part-time jobs in order to earn enough money, and still have enough time to study. My mom found an advert for Genius on Indeed Jobs, and so I applied. I was a bit shocked by all the different steps that there were to the application process, and the to the training programme – but once I got through it, I saw the value in it. It not only ensures that the company has the highest quality tutors, but it also teaches you everything you need to know about working in the company.
Working at Genius is amazing – the people are great, and the company really cares about all of us. I have made some great friends while working here. In addition to this, the pay is also well above average. I earn more at Genius for part-time work than I did at my full-time job – and it has half the stress – so it is definitely worth the time investment and commitment.
The support from Management, as well as fellow tutors, has been excellent. I know that if I am struggling with anything in my work, I can turn to them.
